Frequently Asked Questions
Where do the workers you hire come from?
We have been successfully collaborating with workers from Southeast Asia for many years. Experience has shown that individuals from India and Nepal adapt very well to the lifestyle and working environment in the Republic of Slovenia. These are communities we know well, allowing us to efficiently find qualified workers for a wide range of positions.
What is required to start the recruitment process?
To initiate the process, several legal requirements must be met in accordance with the Immigration Act. These involve coordination with the Employment Service, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Schedule a meeting with our sales team, who will guide you through all the necessary steps and conditions in detail.
What are my obligations when employing workers?
Once we obtain a work permit for a foreign worker and they arrive in the Republic of Slovenia, you are required to provide appropriate accommodation and register them for pension and health insurance—just as you would for any Slovenian worker. Foreign workers enjoy the same labour rights as citizens of the Republic of Slovenia.
Who provides accommodation for the worker?
One of the conditions for obtaining a work permit for a foreign worker is providing accommodation for the individual applying for the residence and work permit. In coordination with us, the responsible party for providing accommodation will be agreed upon. The accommodation must meet minimum standards for decent living, so please ensure this is considered when arranging housing.
Can the worker begin immediately?
Unfortunately, no. Since workers from India and Nepal are third-country nationals, they require both a work permit and a visa to enter the Republic of Slovenia. The process of obtaining these documents can take between 60 and 120 days, depending on the processing times of the relevant authorities—the Employment Service, the Ministry of the Interior, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
How will I communicate with a foreign worker?
To ensure effective communication, we carefully select workers who possess a satisfactory level of English.
